A multi-agency investigation has resulted in nine charges against a Prince George man and a seizure of drugs, weapons, and cash.

In late April, investigators with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit B.C. launched a drug trafficking probe in Prince George. Members of the Prince George RCMP and the RCMP’s organized crime unit also assisted.

The investigation led officers to a property in the 2100-block of Victoria Street in Prince George, where a raid was conducted on May 5. As a result of the search, police seized one ounce of cocaine, half an ounce of methamphetamine, a set of brass knuckles, nunchucks, a set of body armour, and approximately $5,000 in cash.

A man and a woman were also arrested on site.

Mitchell Allen Crosby, 27, of Prince George, faces two counts of failure to comply with a court-imposed condition, three counts of breaching a court-imposed condition to not possess a weapon, two counts of possessing a prohibited substance for the purpose of trafficking, and two count of possessing a prohibited weapon.

Crosby will appear in Prince George court on May 16. The woman was released on a promise to appear.
