An early morning traffic stop in New Westminster led to the arrest of three people and the seizure of $25,000 worth of street drugs on Tuesday.
New Westminster police seized what is believed to be 100 grams of heroin and 82 grams of cocaine, along with $7,000 in cash in the traffic stop.
Scott said the individuals arrested were released on a promise to appear in court and the investigation is continuing.
No names were released.
“Every arrest and drug seizure makes a difference,” said acting Sgt. Jeff Scott, New Westminster police media relations officer. “We want to let criminals know they’re not wanted in New Westminster.”
